The Asia Pacific Youth Choir is original in its concept, bringing together talented young singers aged 18 - 28 years from the Asia Pacific region.

The Asia Pacific Youth Choir is established as one of the most remarkable musical and intercultural experiences offered to young musicians in the Asia Pacific region.

  • APYC 2020 in Kuala Lumpur is postponed to 2023 again

    • APYC was scheduled originally to be held in Kuala Lumpur in 2020, but has been postponed due to the pandemic.
    This year, restrictions on entry and exit from various countries are finally being eased, but airfares are very high, so the Working Committee members have agreed to postpone again to next summer or autumn, 2023.

  • APYC 2020 in Kuala Lumpur is postponed to 2022

    • We are looking forward to the next Asia Pacific Youth Choir (APYC) session in Summer 2022, postponed from 2020 due to the ongoing pandemic.

  • APYC 2020 session is postponed to 2021

    • The new coronavirus (COVID-19) is continuing to spread all over the world and we are witness to this worldwide pandemic which has caused the cancellation or postponement of international choral events. 

    We checked the COVID-19 situation in the countries represented in the APYC, and several countries are beginning to see a second wave although the situation in Malaysia is improving. 

    The Working Committee of the Asia Pacific Choral Council decided to postpone the APYC2020 session to November 2021, Kuala Lumpur. [full story]

    • Asia Pacific Youth Choir 2020 will be take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 4th - 12th November 2020. APYC welcomes new singers from the Asia Pacific region! Please go to "AUDITION" page for more information.
